I recently posted about getting some great deals on yarn at a thrift store here. I love the yarn, but the white yarn was two different lot numbers. Bummer, right?
Here’s a tip for all you yarn artists out there: If you have different lot numbers of the same color alternate between the yarns doing a few rows of each lot number.
For my scarf I alternated every 3 rows. And if you look really, really closely you can kind of tell that there are two different colors. But, that’s only if you look really close. Overall, the scarf looks great and the different yarns blend in very well together.
How do you ever have any trouble with using different lot numbers in the same project? Did you find this post helpful? Let me know below!
