Pompom Garland

Pompoms are wonderful! They are cute and fluffy. They add a little something to that plain hat or scarf. They are super easy to make and you don’t even need to know how to crochet! This pompom garland is quick to make and the materials are pretty cheap. It would be prefect to hang in a little girls room or to give as a gift.

Pompom Garland Directions

Materials:

  • yarn
  • yarn needle
  • scissors
  • cardboard
  • glue
  • pompoms

Step by step guide to making pompom can be found here.

1. Once you have made your pompoms, I made 19, cut a long piece of yarn mind was approximately 7ft .

2. Tie a loop at one end of the string, this will allow you to hang your garland. On the other side of the yarn string your pompoms using the yarn needle. Try to place the needle in the middle of the pompom.

3. Move each pompom to it’s desired position. My pompoms did not stay where I wanted them so I used a little bit of glue to hold them in place. Tip: don’t use glue until you are certain where you want the pompom!

4. Once you have strung all the pompoms tie another loop in to the other end. Now you can hang up your lovely garland!
